The Central Reservation System (CRS) is unique. It has been developed as a response to the gap in the market for a direct booking system, cutting out the need for third party operators who charge inflated commissions for a booking service, providing little or no control for the Hotelier.

This system is simple in its set up and operation and means you can manage your bookings online directly and keep control. The developer has been over 20 years in the IT industry, but also understands the practicalities of running a small hotel and the frustrations of using a large internet booking agency.

Being uniquely placed with a foot in both camps and knowing people like me, who are not computer wizards, has enabled the developer to create what must be one of the most user friendly packages I have ever seen.

For this reason the user manual looks more like a crib sheet for revision! The format is clean simple uncluttered and as long as you know how to get round email, internet and click a mouse you will find this a “doddle”.

The unit price is small for a very good reason. It is so good, we estimate that whilst there will not be vast mark –ups on each package sold the sheer volume sold will recompense. There are an increasing number of third parties trying to sell your services and charge you for the privilege.

If we can get a large enough number of independents on this system and enough people to sign up to the free listing we can effectively compete with these organisations and be less held to ransom.

I have written this Introduction, not because I am a flash marketing executive, but because my hubby and I run a B&B. We have avoided the slavish commissions of online booking agencies and have been praying for something like this to come along. Well now it has. - Paula
